Hi, I’m Rachel — the maker behind Wood n’ Scraps
I started this business in 2017 as a small side hobby, creating wood pieces, custom signs, and setting up at local shows and pop-ups. What began as something creative on the side quickly grew into a passion for designing and making things by hand and something I truly fell in love with.
In January of 2024, I expanded into custom apparel — and my signature sports glitter designs quickly took off locally. That growth pushed me to take things to the next level, expanding into my own workspace where I now press and create each piece from start to finish.
Today, my business focuses mostly on custom apparel alongside handcrafted wood pieces, blending both sides of where I started and where I’ve grown. Being based in Michigan, many of my designs are inspired by local pride, up north adventures, and sports — especially for fans who love to represent their teams.
From markets and pop-ups to my workspace today, every item is part of my journey. Whether it’s a custom order, a Michigan-themed piece, or something for game day, my goal is to make products that people feel excited to wear or display. Each piece is made with care, creativity, and attention to detail — something I’ve carried with me since the very beginning

Shipping & Return Policy
Processing Time
All items are handmade and made to order with care. Please allow up to 2 weeks (14 business days) for processing before your order ships. Many orders are completed sooner, but this timeframe ensures quality and attention to detail.
Shipping
Once your order is complete, it will be shipped using the delivery method selected at checkout. Shipping times may vary depending on your location and carrier delays, which are outside of our control. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.
However, if there is an issue with your order (such as a defect or error on our end), please contact us within 3 days of delivery, and we will make it right.
